I finally have a 2 P setup but I would rather not shell out another 400 quid for the 8TB of SSD's that I currently have in my original PC.
Does anyone have a setup that allows them to successfully share things like Eastwest, Native Instruments Kontakt libraries, IK Multimedia between 2 PC's?
I have looked around and I am thinking on a small 4 x 2.5 inch caddy but will have to take it room to room.
Tried to set up a new NAS but it was too much of a faff to set up and sent it back.
Would sharing directly from my PC be too slow?

You could use Audio Gridder and run Kontakt/IK on your old PC from either one.

You can run an FTP server on one of the computers so you can access the files on the other, then add another plugin path on the other computer so you can access the other computer's plugins. Haven't tried this, might work tho. If both PCs are on the same network it should be pretty fast.
