I myself prefer recordings to be 100% dry, and so only apply FX to them in my DAW, but this does look pretty cool / ingenious - as an idea at least, and if it actually sounds good, wow! With just one "more or less" knob, I could see this appealing to non-techies. Wonder if it might spark any competition.

Looks like a pretty cool idea for many use cases. Unfortunately, it’s not compatible with condenser mics, but could be a good tool for dynamic and ribbon mics. I just saw that it also adds 25dB of gain boost. That makes it a tempting replacement for my Triton Fethead that I use with my SM7B for dialog work.
