he was 95
the news said his wife died first
no foul play they said
his wife was 63
she was taking care of him
one of their dogs died too
of what?
hunger?
trapped inside the house for two weeks?
sad
and also kind of mysterious

my fav gene hackman role was that off the grid guy in Enemy of the State (with Will Smith).
that was classic decent stuff all the way down to the faraday shielding. granted, the movie is bonkers, but it's still kinda cool.

My guess is that he collapsed dead, she found him and was totally distraught and took some pills to end her own life. The dog ate some of the pills on the floor and crawled into the closet and died.

she was more decomposed
she was younger by like 30 years
gene must have been all alone in the house?
couldn`t take care of himself?
couldn`t use the phone, not tech savvy?
lost the will to live and continue?
it would be great to know what really happened because
well, it`s interesting

I liked it too--felt like a sequel to The Conversation, but with a different tone to it.mjolnir wrote: Sat Mar 01, 2025 5:36 pm my fav gene hackman role was that off the grid guy in Enemy of the State (with Will Smith).

Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

It's the diptych of the French Connection and The Conversation for me. Doyle is such a horrible person, yet is somehow on the right side, while Caul is the forebear of the modern surveillance state and it's paranoia. Still can't believe that he's supposed to be 44 - he looks decrepit.

Gene as Lex Luthor was of course pretty amazing, too.Dirtgrain wrote: Sat Mar 01, 2025 6:35 pmI liked it too--felt like a sequel to The Conversation, but with a different tone to it.mjolnir wrote: Sat Mar 01, 2025 5:36 pm my fav gene hackman role was that off the grid guy in Enemy of the State (with Will Smith).

Too much conflicting information, door was open yet maintenance figure calling said he could not get in, all locked up but how did he see both bodies when she was in the bathroom?...
Probably knocked off to prevent a deathbed confession about hollywood, Hackman would SURELY have been exposed to alot over the years perhaps he voiced this intent to someone, that's all it takes... Research the couple who were going to make the movie 'Grey State' they were murdered (couple & the dog) in their home with neighbors all around & nobody heard/saw anything this is the SAME M/O... The coroner & cops will no doubt be told to 'sweep it under the rug'... Delta force style execution...

He was also so great in The Quick and the Dead and I usually despise westerns.

why?
because everything is solved by the gun?
and also, have you ever seen a western without a horse?
i feel for the horses
they seem bipolar
one scene they are frantic, running so fast, chasing (maybe) fake movie indians
another scene they are tied to a horse parking thingy staring into a saloon...
so bored
i`m just guessing
maybe the horses prefer staring into a movie saloon, so bored, to being frantic

initially, they said that the wife may have died first
now they are saying that gene may have died first
his pacemaker may have malfunctioned, they said
but how come the wife and the dog died too?
someone said the dog may have ingested pills
but i have this vague memory of my dog hating swallowing pills
and sometimes i drop pieces of potato chips on the floor (not on purpose)
and the cat walks or runs to investigate
smells it, refuses to eat it
time to quit eating potato chips

Dogs don't eat pills they hate them, we have to put pills inside cubes of cheese to get our dogs to eat them...
Alot of the info coming out is pure garbage/conjecture... Hackman was a neighbor to epstein's zorro ranch where alot of queer shit went on, planes landing in middle of night, horrific screams, weird cult rituals...
Funny thing is this is WHY he left hollywood, he was tired of the freaks, pedos, cultists, adrenochrome users, etc... He was NOT one of them & apparently was on the verge of providing much epstein information in case the revelation of the files failed, which it did... So much redaction that they are worthless which wasn't done to protect victims but the perps... This is why the Hackman's deaths are so closely linked to the release as he would NOW be talking about it...
Same with Paul Walker who was about to blow the lid on a buncha stuff, they had to hurry up on that one & blast him in his car...
Same with Anne Heche as you see the door cam footage she had her body on the BRAKES screeching trying to stop the car which was remote driven, all modern cars this can be done... Then she's trying to get out of the stretcher at the last minute before being hauled off...She was working on a film to expose hollywood pedos...
If you knew what was really going on you would shit your pants>><<>><<>><<
