Any tips for sight-reading?

When I play keyboard, I can sight-read with my eyes and play with my hands. With Geoshred I need to keep my eyes on the iPad the whole time, so I can't sight-read. I've tried putting the notes up on my laptop behind the iPad, but by the time my eyes move from my iPad to the laptop screen and back, I've messed up my performance in Geoshred. Some questions:

1) With more practice, will I be able to quickly move my eyes back and forth between Geoshred and my notes?

2) Do I need to memorize every piece I want to play on Geoshred?

3) Any other suggestions?

GeoShred is a visual instrument. I know that Gerald Peter settled on a standard keyboard layout and he took a screen protector and cut it into key size rectangles that he affixed to the screen.
