Original ROLI Seaboard RISE 49 and Lightpad Block not Bluetooth pairing with my iPad...

I hope there are some users of the original Roli MPE controllers who may know about this.

I can pair the Lightpad Block on my new Mac m4 fine but bluetooth doesn’t seem to see them on my iPad Pro 3rd generation. I know I’d paired them before successfully in the past so I don’t understand. Both devices are in pairing mode and are shown in Audio MIDI Setup in pairing mode.

Does anyone have any clues on why this might be?

P.S. everything is up to date in terms of firmware and software.
