This is probably a long shot, but I’m wondering if anybody here has any first hand experience with these mics, particularly the Edwina, since I’ve never seen or heard one in real life. I occasionally sit in on bass with a friend’s acoustic trio and these mics seem to be known mostly for those styles (e.g., folk, bluegrass). I’ve got a lead on a good deal on an Edwina and it’s got me a little intrigued for recording the whole band in small venues. I’d also possibly use it for recording female vox for my own tunes (mostly dance/house/downtempo), although I need to consider if it would offer me anything different or better than my current mics (Mojave MA-200, AKG C414 XLS, Shure SM7B).

Also, I’d be lying if I said the aesthetic and company’s whole product development weren’t also selling points. These are hand-built mics made in Oregon from re-purposed junk - definitely gives them a high cool factor IMO!
