So I kept seeing the new UVI Workstation 4 comes with a free "UVI Starter Soundpack." I can't seem to find this though. Looked at all the soundware in UVI Portal and on the UVI website and nothing. Has anybody been able to use this mysterious new soundpack?

Thanks so much. I found it at program files/uvi workstation and had to manually add it to the list of sound bank folders that the workstation scans. Looks like it's 50 sounds.

C:\program files\UVISoundBanks on PC
which is in the default path of uviworkstation.

I couldn't see it at first as I removed that path in the Workstation sometime.
I moved the file to my main sample drive...

I just installed on my PC. I am getting an error pop message mentioning Missing Tag Library. I don't remember that appearing in the previous version. I didn't read the manual yet (if there is a newer one), so am not sure if anything was added since then?
It works fine if I just click out of that message, but I was just wondering what that was about.

I guess not. Was that an option with the installer? I just picked the plugin types I wanted.m-ac wrote: Fri Mar 07, 2025 11:54 pmHave you installed the tag library?Examigan wrote: Fri Mar 07, 2025 11:49 pm I just installed on my PC. Is that related to Falcon?

You need to download the tag library. It's over 2 gb in size but it's worth it in my opinion.

I downloaded it and it seems to work, but I am wondering why is it over 2GB? There are no extra sounds, right? It can preview the sounds I have, but I'm not sure if that is part of the file size I mentioned.rasmusklump wrote: Sat Mar 08, 2025 6:08 am You need to download the tag library. Ok thanks. I just thought it would be all combined in one download, and only found it by going into the Portal. I also noticed today that their site is really slow.

Latest product bundle directly previews and tagging, but for already released product, we have bundled everything in this Tag Library so you get tags and all the previews in one single download.
Hope this clarify things
