In the DAWs that I have looked at, the internal values of plug-in automation parameters range from 0.000 to 1.000 (although the DAW may display a value obtained from the plug-in).
Is this true for all DAWs? Or do some allow other ranges? If so, then name names and ranges.

This 0.0f-1.0f range (also for boolean & enum params) is afaik the standard parameter range in VST2 specs, so I expect it to be universal.
