Move Kontakt Libraries questions - more Content Locations?

hi,

i just upgraded one of my hard drives with more space, so i want to move e.g. UVI & Native instruments Kontakt libraries (no user libraries, sick of relocating user samples lol) so i just moved some to a new directory e.g. M:\Native Instruments\Kontakt\Action Strings.
i now have to manually relocate in NI Access, i got a main CONTENT path on

S:\Native Instruments\Kontakt

would be cool to be able to point to a second folder? i guess this isnt possible is it?

I haven't had Kontakt in a while but, it used to do with where it will ask you to find missing samples if the content path isn't correct. It's kind of a PITA.

For "player" libraries, you can change their locations in native access. So I can just copy my old "samples" drive and spend a while locating all the library folders in NA. You want to give it the folder that contains the "samples" subdirectory. Not sure about the other companies you mentioned but I've not used any sample based products that don't work that way.

Also you can just load your old sessions and it will ask for the location then but you'll have to do this every time you reload another old session/ project.

thx guys, im moving atm only NI libraries like Arkhis, Session Guitarist etc. I moved the folders to the new partition and relocated each in NI Access, this is very tedious sadly as you need to manually relocate EACH library but well it works.

i will try other libraries like from Sample Logic, Soundiron etc. which are also registered in NI Access. the other user libraries which were pre-authorization through NI Access i will leave in my old partition, i once did the re-locating of user samples which took me many many hours .
