Equal parts workhorse and abstract creative tool, Circa is a six track multi-layer looping environment that can do most of the things your popular floor pedal looper can while also paying homage to the serendipitous world of ambient looping.

Each layer can sync to the host, a master loop, or free run, and can be triggered in sync, with an audio signal, or freely. Circa has seven stereo outputs (including a dedicated cue output for monitoring) and built-in reverb and delay. Add in a complete MIDI control system and Circa is a full looping workstation.

"similar" is the new "same" now ?

Loopers DO stand or fall with very small details. At least for me.
And i fear, many of us have different ideas how the "ideal" looper would look like.
So, there´s that

+ i hate grey fonts on black backround !
do they all work on a macbook pro with 30cm distance to the eyes ? IDK

a GOOD SW -non DAW based- Looper is my most wanted device !!! just 2 mention

what control element are you folks midi CC mapping to start a looper ?

everything i thought would be a logic chice to be CC mapped vs. start-rec / play is not working.
i cant CC map any of these controls
( in Gigperformer)

GPU eater for me on windows 10. 2080 here and goes up to 38-40%. I've disabled the animation but same stuff. This happens as soon as I open the UI. Tried in ableton live 12 and latest reaper. Same thing.

I've had massive stability problems with all the AD stuff starting around the release of their granular thing. They all seem to be graphics related (always crashing on opening or closing GUI). I really like the stuff he makes but I don't want to mess with bugginess so I demo them and don't buy them. All my really old AD stuff still works though. If this runs well on iOS it would be a great love tool.

For me most desirable thing in looper is ability to keep recorded buffer together with DAW project (what Enso does). Unfortunately this feature rather rare among all rests loopers.
