I bought a v collection x of arturia.
The code was succesfully registered and it suddenly disappeared!(after a few days)
As I emailed them, they said the license was reported to be stolen, so they removed the license from my account.
I have no idea why tf this way works and this policy of arturia must be changed
I have found a post of a simmilar scam method below.viewtopic.php?t=609939
But the problem is that I paid with G&S, but the dispute has rejected.
I have no idea what to do and feeling paypal G&S doesn't help the buyer at all.
Hope others don't get the same scam and buying firsthand from the official reseller seems much better

Sorry for your trouble.
You should report it to whatever financial institution is linked to your PayPal, if you haven't already.

If you bought stolen goods through PayPal using a credit card or your bank account, inform your bank about the fraudulent transaction and request an immediate chargeback. PayPal freezes the amount in the seller's account when they get that request for a chargeback, and in the meanwhile the bank will make its decision. A bank is often more sensible than PayPal.

Ugh. Sorry you got scammed. Did the seller have any feedback or were they new to Knobcloud?

I bought it believing the paypal G&S would help me even if I get scammed, but it wasn't T_T

Thank you for advising. I will contact the card company as soon as the holiday here ends.Michael L wrote: Mon May 05, 2025 12:28 pmYes.telecharge wrote: Mon May 05, 2025 11:46 am Sorry for your trouble. You should report it to whatever financial institution is linked to your PayPal, if you haven't already.

Same thing happened to me, not in knobcloud but here.
I purchased V Collection 9 license from a guy who got previous good feedback, managed to register the license, but after a few days the license was removed from my account.
I turned to Arturia support which confirmed that the license was stolen, but they said thar they wouldn't be able to help, and when I mentioned that in previous cases they restored the license (NFR) they replied "that's no long available".
I created a Paypal dispute and hopefully I'll get a refund.
