Soz if this is well known, but searching for Teenage in a topic title didn't bring it up
https://teenage.engineering/store/op-1-field
There is a slider that goes from £1399 to £9999
I've added both extremes to the cart and it seems to be a thing.
Is £1399 a good deal? I'm not in the market for It, but it does look fun.
It looks like they are doing this with other items over the forthcoming months. I like the look of the Bluetooth speaker, but not at its current price

I have an OP-1F (bought second hand) its often frustrating workflow but fun and sounds great to me- £1399 only seems like a good price as the original launch price was so expensive! If you do really want a new one, you probably wont get it cheaper, but that doesn't necessarily mean its worth it- depends how much you end up using it! OPXY will probably get the same sale doisciunbt in the future (speculation is December) so look at that as well. Similar form factor but sequences and has an undo!
FYI if you have never used one before the original OP-1 is much cheaper second hand (typically about £650) and is is very, very similar....

X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I'm looking more at their pocket operators (and that mixing desk, but that's never going to happen) than the OP-1/F, but, having had a v quick Google, it seems to be the lowest price.
£650 for the earlier model does sound much more reasonable though...
I think my spare cash this month is taken up with van stuff, so it's prolly not going to happen for any of their stuff, second hand or new

I would also suggest the original if you are not certain.
I also tried the original one and found it very frustrating, but a little fun too. I couldn’t justify keeping it around at the used price and sold it off without losing money on it. I think you can do the same at any point so no FOMO needed. Used Field prices should drop in the future too, just in case you love it and want an upgrade.
I might be interested in an OPXY if it meets the same price, but considering they charged more, I think the bottom price will be more expensive than the field.
I don’t need an XY, but the size with outward connections for eurorack are a great combo.
