Karoryfer releases Karniszbass. Even for Karoryfer, this is a strange one.

So here's how this happened... back in November I got a support email from somebody having trouble getting Paypal payment go through for one of our other sample libraries. Somehow it came up that he also made a 2-string curtain rod bass for a very modern production of Hamlet. I asked him if he still has it and if I can borrow it to sample. He designed it carefully and attached it to a small drum to give it resonance. I borrowed it to sample, went full Ork Mekboy and tied it to a cajon sitting on top of the basket from a cider press (and, come to think of it, so far I've only paid for the instrument rental in cider made using that press), and tried to record every technique that worked half-decently. That ended up over a gigabyte of samples.
A bit of behind the scenes footage of me recording a high harmonic.
And video from the (award-winning) Hamlet here: https://www.peterlyczkowski.com/music/

And here's a track that uses it throughout - three instances, one doing the harmonics getting screechier and screechier as the track goes along, also two more doing sul pont bowing and spectral scrubs.
