XILS-Lab takes the s(tress) out of sibilance and plosives with transparent de-esser plug-in par excellence.
Music software company XILS-lab announces availability of a major update of the XILS DeeS — an easy-to-use de-esser plug-in for rapidly ridding voice recordings of all sibilant and plosive related defects while powerfully preserving precious characteristics to produce perfect-sounding results.
XILS Dees detects sibilances and plosives independently, for altering, adapting, or applying polish to the character of voices with those three independent EQ’ing paths, processed by acclaimed XILS-Lab analogue-style, zero-delay feedback filters
Unlike traditional de-essing tools, XILS DeeS does not result in unwanted, unnatural-sounding filter sweeping effects yet users can get truly creative with almost endless possibilities.
With these two stages detection, XILS DeeS can also be used to adapt transients as hi-hats or cymbals, for example, or even slap bass by EQ’ing the more metallic-sounding element of such sounds
This major update brings:
- Independent plosive audio paths and EQ.
- Advanced Preset Manager.
- VST3 support.
- High Res UI resizeable.
- Protools shortcuts and Mono available.
Protected by a simple license serial (no dongle, no iLok)
XILS DeeS is available at 34.99€ instead of 99€ until June 30th, 2025
