due to an issue with S1v6.5 I spent a good amount of time with the demo of
VHS Home Video Flavor Box by Audio Hertz and I learned to appreciate what it is & what it does.
Remember the free Reaktor fx VHS?
If you do, you most certainly enjoyed the organic authenticity of this user based release.
The same feeling I had with the Flavor Box and I call it, in terms of authenticity, a legit successor.
Obvious differences aside like platform, format, gui, price etc.
some hints where I stumbled upon:
-S1v6 users may need last v6.6 in order to run the plugin properly
-initial startup is with wow & flutter full on, leading to an unwanted phase effect when playing with the dry/wet
-better to lower the volume on the output in advance to keep the ears healthy
I`ll keep on going with the demo for a few more days
but don`t hesitate to send your suggestions for improvement,
I learned the support is open & responsive.
As always, I don`t do purchase recommendations
and although I was in touch with them,
it was issue related and I am not associated with the dev or company.
