Hello,

I just purchased the T racks 6 Max from a well-known German website.

Everything is installed, configured, and validated correctly in the Product Manager and Modules Manager.

However, when I update a plugin in my DAW, it's always in demo mode.

Can you help me find a solution to this problem?

You can always open a "support ticket" with IK. Maybe you'll even get a response. If you're REALLY lucky they might actually solve your problem....but I wouldn't hold my breath. :roll:

Well, I've been exchanging emails with Ik Multimedia for two days and haven't been able to find a solution to my problem.

They're willing, but not at all willing to find a solution.

What worries me is that they seem unable to find a solution.

That's why I'm posting this message here.

Perhaps someone else has had the same problem and found a solution.

I even requested a refund on my purchase.

It will be three days tomorrow and nothing concrete has happened, still not working.

It's a shame, because their plugins seem really cool.

Dont hold your breathe, would be my answer. They'll tell you to wait for a solution, and then never provide one.

Ive been waiting 3 months for a solution to my ticket about T-Racks 6 not acknowledging modules Ive owned for 15 or so years, its been quite literally a month since their last response and all but one of the half-dozen replies Ive received from them in that time have completely ignored what I told them in the original request and asked something I'd already told them, including telling me I dont own the missing modules, or the version of T-Racks 6 I bought.

IK support is a f**king clownshow, and they dont show any evidence of giving a f**k about their customers. Expect their support to dry up, with no solution.

What you're saying isn't reassuring at all.

I really should have refrained from purchasing their products.

I'll contact the online store where I purchased the Tracks6 Max and request a refund.

Having plugins that don't work is pointless.

They should take responsibility; they sell third-party products that don't work and can't find a solution to make them work.

The well-known online store here can't find a solution either.

I think I lost 115 euros.

It's not right, and I'm choosing my words carefully, to sell plugins and then leave buyers in the lurch when they don't work.

At least, I've had this once, and there won't be two.

The worst company I know.

I've never had so many problems with a software company.

When I've had issues with other companies (very rare), everything is always resolved the same day.

You'd think even if they couldn't "figure out" the root cause as to some of these things, they could just manually add things to your account and override the system. At least in the case whyterabbyt's issues.

No shit, randomly this morning, I accidentally instantiated one of my modules that wasn't unlocking, and it's no longer in demo mode. I have no idea why. The four original tape machines are still in demo mode, but all the other plugins I have from 5 are now working in 6, finally.

I mean. You're making sense. IK doesn't.

If I want random faults with random fixes, I'd rather work on my BMW.

I got a response from them last night. 'We did some stuff to your account, reauthorise and it should work now'

Predictably, of course, it doesnt.

Thank you for your replies and feedback.

I received the same message as you.

However, for me, everything works perfectly now, on both my PCs.

Perhaps this can help you.

I logged out of Product Manager, then logged back in and deleted my authorization, and then reactivated my authorization.

Then I restarted my PCs, and now everything works.

I hope it works out for you.

In any case, these are truly excellent plugins and very creative.

So, for my part, even though it wasn't at all easy and it really exasperated me, I'm really happy that everything is working perfectly.

I sent a message to Ik multimedia to thank them.

It's very important to report and provide positive feedback when a solution has been found and is working.

Thank you, but as of the advice to reauthorise that I received this morning, I have logged in and out of website, and product manager, and tried reauthorisation at least twice, including before and after a reinstallation, and two different versions of restoring purchases. Nothing has changed.
