Context: my mixer is starting to get a bit (well... ok a lot) flaky and I am considering ditching it for a nice audio interface. In the past I have owned some nice consumer level ones like the SSL2 but I have never owned in the next tier up.

Right now I am seriously considering either the Connect 4/12 (as I am a Bitwig user) or the Arturia AudioFuse 2. Both look like very nice interfaces in the midrange pricerange.

The Bitwig integration is super attractive, but I also already have some DAW controls on my KeyLab mk. II; just not as integrated as the Connect. Same wrt CV I/O (which I am not using currently).

On the other hand the AudioFuse just looks like a really solid interface and looks pretty future proof as well. Its controls also look more immediate; however it lacks any DAW integration. It is cheaper here though.

I'm not considering RME or UAD for various (and different) reasons. I am aware they are top dog.

Any opinions from owners of either the Bitwig or Arturia interfaces would be super helpful.

Went with the Connect 4/12 but it was close, a great deal locally tipped the balance.

Let us know how the Bitwig integration is... especially the hover with mouse + rotate knob feature. :D

I have a Arturia AudioFuse 2 it replace my presonus 44 VSL, I must say that the Audiofuse is pretty good and very neutral,I had it with a pack (headphone and mic),the mic is really good IMO ,the headphone is not the best but it is decent.
