And maybe Flangers too.

I am looking for a phasor with a very full rich sound, perhaps in that range of french house type phasing.

From what I have, Phase mistress is pretty good for this, but I'm wondering if there are other options. I love the eventide phaser, but this is too hifi for some things. Uhbik seems a bit lofi somehow, and the built in Bitwig phasors are all quite polite...

I really like the sound of the two d16 phasors, fazortan and godfazor - does anyone use these? Would they work well across a whole track?

Any other recommendations for a full rich Phasor?

Thanks all

The D16 are good indeed.

The KiloHertz are also suprisingly simple et good.

BlueCat Polyvibe is a vibe plugin, but it does phaser well, too (and sounds great).

If you're after french touch sound, then you may try this one :

High Flyer from Cut Classic (via Plugin Alliance) is worth a look imo.

30-day trial available.

Because you ask for something really state of the art now in 2025.

I think you have all normal phaser things already in your plugin folder.

Glad you mentioned UVI. I don't own the phasor separately but I use it in Falcon and it sounds great.

As a separate plugin I am really loving UVI Shade, a multi filtering plugin where you can do crazy things like have a highpass cleaning up your bass, a phaser with however many notches you want in your midrange, a comb filter or flanger hitting your highs and a big notch traveling back and forth over the whole thing - all without band splitting!!

This is an example from a track I was working on yesterday -

Comes with a bunch of fantastic modulators and dynamic processing options too

However with depth comes the need to learn and configure, but I find the UI to be easy to navigate.

If you're looking for something similar, Adam Szabo's Phazor (free!) And FL Studio's Vintage Phaser are both easy to use and sound fantastic to my ears , just a lot less control than Shade

UVI Phasor and Softube Fix Phaser are usually my goto for phase.

I use Godfazer all the time. Love it.

All phasors, which came first in my mind, were already mentioned here.

Since I am using phasors not that much, I am not sure, if they really are „full“ in your sense, but I wanna bring to the table:

Polyverse Filterverse ( Multi-Fx which has Phasing capabilities and generally sounds dope)
Infiltrator (Also a Multi-Fx, I find the Fx also dope)
Arturia Bi-Tron ( I regularly underestimate the Arturia Fx and rediscover, that they are very musical actually )

Maybe it‘s worth for you to evaluate these.

I do like Fazortan quite a lot.

Moogerfooger MF-103S is more on the dirty side IMHO. Not something I would want to use on a full track usually,

Minimal Audio Ripple Phaser is a fun one especially if you want to get less traditional and more weird. With the different filter types available, putting the frequency under envelope (or envelope follower) control can be really rewarding.

Pubbas Sheepadoodle is a bit like a simplified Ripple Phaser, without the other filters, and is free.

Sinevibes Whirl is a cool barberpole phaser, for something a bit different...

From my first quick check of that video it seems to do all sorts of weird and wonderful things, if not straight up phasing! :hihi:

Thanks though, I'll check it out properly as it seems quite interesting and it's at $29 at the moment. :tu:

Yeah I really like the d16 things I do have, so I should def demo them.

Thanks for the suggestions, phaser-ddl is the ensoniq dp4 emulation, that's a good suggestion. Thanks!

Wow, thanks very so much. Much appreciated suggestions and too many to reply to all.

Some people might just see a list, but I appreciate people comments to the use case I'm after.

I guess I need to do a giant shoot out. Weekend of Phase coming up: :hihi: :tu:

Can't go wrong with the Godfazer.

Minimal's Ripple phaser is lovely, very flexible.

Audiority's Tube Modulator is great for Uni-vibe style phasing.

Other good ones are the Eventide clockworks instant phaser, Arturia's Bi-tron, Moogerfooger MF-103s, Audiority Dr. Phase (MXR Phase 90)

Valhalla Delay has some nifty phaser presets.
