Is there any possibility to create a part that is more than 4 bars and assign a different chord to each bar? I tried for hours no but found no way. I tried to create a part with 12 bars and either I end up with 4 bars, or I get e,g, 12 bars where always 3 bars are connected to the same chord, or I get bar 1,2 and 3 with a chord, and bar 4 to 12 connected with one chord.
This is frustrating.....

Yes, this is absolutely possible!

The easiest way is to use the Structure Inspector:

The Structure Inspector shows the parts that consist of lines.
You can easily add, remove, duplicate lines or parts, and adjust their lengths.

When you drag a chord progression onto a line, the chords are arranged automatically, unless the progression already contains chords with specific lengths.
If you want to set up chords manually, just Alt+click on the master track.

Thank you....the Alt+klick was the missing link.

Generally, Alt+click is used to split and glue phrases, notes, chords and lines (in the top row).

The composition structure is hierarchical: Composition ➡ Parts ➡ Lines ➡ Chords
You can assign own scale, tempo and time signature to parts, lines and chords.
By default they inherit the upper level settings, so parts inherit the composition scale/tempo/signature, lines inherit the part's settings, and chord boxes inherit the line's settings.

Thanks,
