"In the Kingdom of Druk, where cypresses grow,
Refuge of the glorious monastic and civil traditions,
The King of Druk, precious sovereign.
His being is eternal, his reign prosperous,
The enlightenment teachings thrive and flourish,

I converted the German National Anthem into a children song, but it didn't sound like the anthem anymore, thus a failure within the Nov task definition.
Time for a new attempt then. I used Ludwig to create a new counterpoint arrangement of the anthem, then played it in a couple different ways
2511 Announcing the Failure

I don't record any instruments live, I construct my music.

My Irish grandmother emigrated to America sometime in the late 19th century. She was the only grandparent I ever knew, so this one's for her memory.
I envisioned a band setting up to play in a pub somewhere. One of the members begins to whistle the Irish national anthem, "A Soldier's Song" and is joined by the fiddler. Soon the bass and mandola join in and the audience starts clapping time. Then the whistler picks up the bodhran (he's a better whistler though) and they continue for another chorus.
All the parts were done in Reaper 7.52 (linux version) using the Yoshimi synth for all the instruments with a little extra eq, limiting and convolution from other plugins (mostly native Reaper plugs).
Here are the links - use the second one to download:

Comments welcome - maybe in the gossip thread?
