Hi everyone.

I'm excited to share a new plugin I've been working on: Karadag Delay.

This was a passion project, born from my journey of learning audio development with the JUCE framework (and a lot of trial and error!). My goal wasn't to reinvent the wheel, but to create a simple, classic digital delay that does its job well, sounds great, and is incredibly easy to use.

It's built on a clean, click-free audio engine, so you can automate the knobs without any "zipper noise."

Key Features:

Wide Delay Range (1ms - 2000ms): The Delay Time knob is logarithmically scaled, giving you precise control over short slapbacks and atmospheric, long echoes all from one knob.

Stable Feedback: Create repeating echoes that fade out naturally. The feedback path is stable and won't self-oscillate into dangerously loud noise.

Full Stereo: A clean stereo delay path.

Lightweight & CPU-Friendly: It's a simple, efficient algorithm that won't bog down your session.

It's 100% Free.

This is a gift to the community. It's completely free, with no ads or limitations, released under the MIT License. Use it in your personal or commercial tracks however you like.

I'd absolutely love to hear what you think! As a new developer, your feedback is incredibly valuable. Please give it a try and let me know how it works for you.

Am I the only one who cannot make it work? I downloaded vst3 file, but it is not recognized as vst3 plugin by any of my hosts, including the KVR Studio Manager.

Thank you :)

As I understand from readme, there should be 2 versions released - for Mac and Windows, but I see only one vst3 file in the most recent release. And I guess this is Mac version because it is not recognized as valid Windows plugin/dll. Will the Windows version be released as well?
Thanks.

Hi! Thanks for your feedback and for catching this.

You were right, the previous release was missing the standard VST3 folder hierarchy, which caused some DAWs to misidentify it. I have just uploaded a new release (v1.0.1) with the correct bundle structure.

It is indeed a Windows version, and it should now be recognized correctly by your DAW. Please make sure to copy the entire .vst3 folder to your VST3 directory.

Let me know if it works for you now! Thanks for your patience.

Karadag, have you tested it on Windows yourself?
And have anybody who reads this succeeded in using it on Windows?
The problem is not in the folder structure. VST3 standard does not require it, and your own reverb works just fine.
However, I tried the 1.0.1 version of your delay with my Windows 11 x64 PC - it is still not recognized by KVR Studio Manager or by Cantabile.
And yes, I scanned the drive for possible duplicate instances of the plugin - there were no such found.
