Musescore - charged four times and they won't refund

I don't like to have to complain publicly about a company but this is quite unacceptable and I hope others can avoid it.

I have been a Musescore customer for ten years and never had any issues but my renewal on the 11th failed repeatedly and I got a webpage message that the transaction had failed and to do it again. On the fourth attempt the transaction was successful. No emails were received at the time informing me of the purchases.I was surprised to see this morning on my banking app credit card statement that I had been charged £39.99 four times - some for multiples of the same subscription!

I contacted Musescore and explained what happened but they have refused to give me a full refund. I shall be pursuing it with the credit card company but just thought I ought to warn other customers. It's a great shame because it has always been a good service previously.
