I have some bands from Korea and Japan in the Indie, Dream Pop, Shoegaze realm that I really enjoy (If I like a song, I don't care what country it comes from, although I admit that I love South Korea, because I lived there at one point--great people!!). I don't know if the songs I like would fit specifically into the "kpop" genre. I love the music though.

My kids would probably love XLOV. I had never heard of them before, but I looked them up. My girls love BlackPink, , Rose, Psy, Stray Kids, and of course the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack.
I'm more old school. I lived there a LONG time ago. My old Kpop collection includes Kim Wan Sun, Na-mi, Shin Hae-chul, Pigeon Milk, Sunflower, etc, etc.... I've kept up with Kim Wan Sun, and like her more recent work as well, such as the song, "Yellow".
