Trying Shimmer on vocals in Cubase

How to do this, that and the other. Share, learn, teach. How did X do that? How can I sound like Y?

I was messing around with Cubase’s Shimmer on vocals and ended up with a pretty nice octave-up layer that sits behind the lead without getting in the way.
If you’ve never tried Shimmer on vocals before, it’s actually really cool for that wide, airy glow.

I made a short video walking through what I did — basically running it as a send (mix at 100%), pushing the pitch to +12 semitones, and shaping it with feedback + filters so it doesn’t get muddy.

Nothing fancy… just a quick look at the settings in case anyone’s into this kind of sound.
