Hi everyone!Over the last few weeks I’ve been developing a new application that combines the best features of dedicated hardware MIDI players for live performance — but without the cost, limitations, or complexity.
Consider this my little Black Friday gift
Today I’m releasing a beta version for macOS (Apple Silicon).
It will always be free to use — if you enjoy it, you can buy me a coffee
I built this because most hardware MIDI players are closed, expensive, and not very user-friendly. With a simple SoundFont player and a GM soundfont, you’re ready for any gig.
One unique feature is the family sliders: they let you mix or mute instrument groups (e.g. mute all bass parts if you play with a bass player). It makes MIDI tracks feel much more flexible on stage.
