I’ve been seeing people ranting over Spitfire Player libraries. I am not arguing on Good or bad but I am gonna say & ask something coz it REALLY, REALLY matters for the users & future customers too (if they REALLY wanna trust with their holding). I do love their BBC SO & Their $29 Spitfire Player libraries but their proprietary playing going much worse & wondering if there will be a complete END to this & can actually work just good. Or should all the users request them to please port their Player libraries to the Kontakt or Kontakt Player? I think, at least to me, Kontakt & Kontakt Player are a very, very, very safe bet comparatively. Or there’s OPUS too. On the other hand, there’s been evergrowing fear of upgrading the Mac OS, particular the major reason being the compatibility of the Spitfire Player libraries. They are being SERIOUSLY instable so far. I’ve heard typical problems on Windows too but more on Macs.

The reason I am saying this is first of all, it’s not only my money but many have invested on their Player libraries & at this point, it looks like it’s struggling badly for existence. And I think, ethically & considering “humanity” & “gratitude” (for getting convinced by their Player products when it was new & more or less withstanding the belief that it will improve), they should genuinely & honestly thrive out to offer a FREE solution (to their Player libraries users) that porting these libraries to more efficient players like Kontakt, Kontakt Player or say Opus. I can say Synchron Player but I am not quite sure if VSL is open to accepting proposals & pitches from the peers & so on.

Hope they consider.
