Jesus f**k i literally just got back from a car repair and was listening to the Mavericks in the waiting room. One of my mom's favvorite. She'll be heartbroken on this one. RIP.

That's sad. My step-son would dance around the living room as a toddler with his grandad to "dance the night away", played it at his (grandad's) funeral. Helluva voice. RIP.

Bummer. Malo was underrated by most. He wasn't the prettiest boy, but he sure could sing -with the Mavericks and solo. He was one of the few singers who you felt could go from filling in for Dwight Yoakam to Lionel Ritchie to Rob Halford all in the same night.

Oh Lord that is unfortunate, RIP Raul!
I got into The Mavericks because I follow bassist Ed Friedland, who played with them for a while.
He said Raul was a really hard-driving bandleader.
