What a nice surprise - a really great gift from Softube.

I have the Amp Room Vintage Suite which I never had much use use for though - Amplifiers however turns it into something that will probably become my new goto amp. It's lean, super-easy to use but nonetheless very flexible/tweakable and rather light on the CPU. Yay!

Yeah that's a nice freebie for owners of Amp Room, haven't spent any time with it yet but it looks like it could be useful.

Agree ! A really nice surprise from Softube !
I've been playing with it for a couple of days now, and honestly I think I may be getting more use out of this than the full suite version.

I also like what Softube has been doing lately, what with breaking some of the stompboxes out into separate plugins too.

I think you need to own one of the Amp Suites and they give you Amplifiers for free. It was added to my account in Softube Central.

You do need to own at least one amp suite package, but this was from the email I received.

I own each amproom suite and some individual amps but used amproom less and less.
My main criticism was the super slow loading times and sluggishness of that massive gui. .
The new Amplifiers fixes that completely.
It's everything I need. An amp and a cab.
I use it since release day and really love it.

Yes, make absolutely sure you OWN A FULL SUITE at least. If you install "Amplifiers" from the Softube app it will install a series of suites and if you don't own a full suite (like if you only have this or that amp) it will create a huge mess with iLok. I used to own all suites, sold them after becoming unusable (slow to load, high CPU...), but somehow managed to keep a few marshall amps. Amplifiers was an option, so I tried it and as soon as I started my DAW, I got 30+ iLok error windows. Huge mess.

thanks guys. i have vintage suite. i did a long cycle of updates (softube central going insane and trying to do its weird crap as usual) and it showed up. eventually got everything to install, except amp room wont download and update.

But you can't automate it nor assign it to MIDI.

Just a heads up: the bass amp suite is 39$ today for subscribers - and of course it's Amplifiers-compatible too...
