EDIT: Yamaha Motif ES and old HipHop drumkits might be a good starting point for yout search. The Motif aimed for exactly this sound. But as I have just seen the track was published 1994, that´s way before the Motif came out and since it´s a track from back then I´d suspect that the producer has generated it himself. Vinyl drum samples were very popular back then.
The snare is also layered for pretty sure. There also seem to be several claps on the 2 and 4.
But despite of that: in my opinion it´s not the snare that is special. It has a special and interesting character for sure, but it´s the mix that leaves lots of space for it (and the Vocals!) to cut through. "As usual" there´s not much between the sub and the snare. And the kick ... "punchy" but extremely decent. And the high percussions / hats ... again remind me of the Yamaha sound.
