Caninus - the first straightedge vegan grindcore band ever to be fronted by two pitbull terrier vocalists.

This is the second animal-fronted metal band I've heard this year (after Hatebeak, who have a parrot as vocalist). Any others?

It's the other band members that are vegans, not the pitbulls (Budgie and Basil)... A friend of mine and I joked about doing this ages ago, but never got around to it. The vocals actually sound a bit like Carcass circa 'Symphonies of Sickness', but a bit more, um, inhuman.

I heard from a credible source that those dogs are lip syncing
In fact all the vocals we're actually done by a couple of boxers
but the image wasn't right so they had to bring in these 'milli vanilli' pitbulls.
