E-Expander600 is an advanced JSFX expander plugin that features both upward and downward expansion modes. The upward expansion mode increases the gain of signals above the threshold, resulting in an increased dynamic range by making loud signals louder while leaving quiet signals unchanged. It can be used to restore dynamics to heavily compressed or limited tracks, sidechain upward expansion to make a track increase in volume dynamically in response to another track, and for emphasizing transients or the body of drums or percussion. The downward expansion mode decreases the level of signals below the threshold, which in turn increases the track's dynamic range by making quiet signals quieter while leaving loud signals unchanged. It can be used for removing unwanted noise and bleed from recordings, rhythmic gating effects, gated reverb, music/vocal ducking, and general downward dynamic range expansion.
You can grab it for $14. Visit the Gumroad page for a detailed list of features and to explore audio demos of what the plugin can do.

Hi, I'm late in posting, but I updated the plugin on 21st January, 2026.
Changelog:
1. Made GUI buttons backward compatible in older REAPER versions. As a result, the plugin graphics now compile correctly in older versions of REAPER without affecting newer versions. Also, this doesn't affect the underlying audio processing code of the plugin; the older and new version null 100% in a null test.
