Hey folks, hope everyone is having a nice week. Grateful for some feedback on this.

The song itself I love. It's great. Very well produced all the way around. The intro and outro I could do without. I don't think it adds anything to the song and, quite honestly, I think it sounds terrible. Fortunately, it's short enough that it's quickly forgotten. I'm tempted to download this (assuming you've allowed downloads) and make a copy of it cutting out the beginning and end.

Anyway, haven't heard anything from you in a while (unless of course I just missed it) so it's great to hear some new stuff from you.

Thanks for dropping by Wagtunes! That's the feedback I needed - I'm cutting out the intro and outro, i agree they don't sound too good. Glad you like the rest of the track. I'm still tweaking things here and there.

One small point from me - could the vocals do with lifting / pushing forward a little bit in the mix?

Hi mate thanks for dropping by for a listen - nice to hear from you. Ah yes, Pharaoh's Dynasty - a new age classic. You did a great job on that I never could master that particular style which is why I went back to making a racket with Gothic Doom punk. I haven't checked out your channel in a while so I'll be having a gander.

I like it. It definitely has shades of Opeth and Porcupine Tree from the early 2000s (my favourite era of each of these bands), especially the guitars and vocals. I think the spoken vox. between 0:26 and 0:38 could do with a small volume increase.

Great doom rock. Excellent guitar work: the riffs and sound are really good,
it grooves! The deep growling vocals fit well, but they really should be a touch
louder.

The guitar solo from 1:50 onwards is well done and well integrated into the
song. The guitar solo from 3:20 onwards is also fantastic. Together with the
guitar groove, it creates that goosebump feeling. Brilliantly done!

Appreciate the positive feedback! Good to know it's got a bit of a groove to it... I've been working on getting a bit of swing into my drum sampling so that helps. I agree the vox should be louder. I always struggle with finding a balance,.it's something i'm working on.

Thank you for the review! Now your song: you don't waste any time getting into something rather intense. The singing vocals sometimes remind me of Powerman5000; sometimes Iggy Pop (good). Even if it is a little dissonant in a few places (OK at lower volume for me) it all sounds pretty cool!
