A founding member of iconic group Siouxsie and the Banshees has died. Post-punk music icon Kenny Morris, who helped to launch the band in 1977 and played on their first two albums, was 68. No cause of death has been announced.

Very sad news! I didn’t really get into them until after Budgie replace him, but I really liked their earlier stuff, especially Join Hands.

My favorite from the Morris-McKay era is The Staircase (Mystery).

Wow, R.I.P. Loved their early run of albums.

I hadn't listened for a bit, then about 2 weeks ago had just done a good, deep dive back into those first 5 albums or more, lots of great stuff still.
