Tape Fiasco is a creative audio effect plugin that combines three distinct time-based effects: Stretch (granular time-stretching), Varispeed (tape-style speed manipulation), and Stutter (rhythmic slicing and repetition). Each effect can be used independently or in combination, with configurable signal routing between them. The plugin is designed for real-time performance and sound design, offering tempo-synced operation, envelope follower modulation, and extensive parameter control for each effect section.

Looks sweet, will give it a try.

Woah! It is rather seldom that a name of a plugin gets me interested. Cool name.
And then it delivers!
Demo video sounds awesome!!!

Then I only find download buttons.
But where is the price, the BUY NOW button...
Download, readme: IT's FREE !!!
And it looks great, and does fun things.
Just scratching the surface.
Thank you so much, Jonas!

I won't be able to try it out until tomorrow but I will say it's one of the most beautiful plugins I've seen in a long time. Up there with Felt imo.

Indeed, it looks gorgeous 😍
(But is the GUI resizeable? It looks small on my laptop)

Sadly no, glasses recommended. The color choice of the GUI isn’t exactly helping either.

I can't tell what is going on with that GUI. Clicking around randomly seems to turn on certain modules, though some modules I can't seem to figure out how to activate. Not the most intuitive UI IMHO.

It no workie on my 5,1 mac w macOS 12 and Reaper. I tried the Terminal code and rebooting. No love. alas.

And if I ever saw a plug-in in need of a global mix control… this one is it.
On a number of Macs

Can't help you if you can't read one page, everything is laid out on the download page explaining every module

As I said, not the most intuitive UI. I read the download page and it doesn't mention anything about turning on the modules, they are all greyed out. Maybe there's an issue with it in Cubase. It says it was only tested on Ableton. As for tooltips they are not displaying for me in Windows/Cubase 12. But hey, free plugin so I'm not really griping that much. Just not loving the UI since the modules won't activate for me (or maybe it is buggy with my particular setup).
