I’m still baffled that they ported Cypher and Strobe but not Geist. And they are still selling it for £159.

I like Geist1 better then Geist2! And the DCAM Synth squad was also better then just the two Cypher 2 and Strobe 2 - especially the interface. Yupp no idea what they was doing here. Doesn't Alchemy work with Apple Silicon in Logic Pro?
I checked out Carbon Electra and they say it can run natively as an AU plug-in with M1 / Apple Silicon hosts including Ableton Live, Machine, Studio One 6 and Logic Pro X.

Alchemy, CamelPhat and CamelSpace are in Logic indeed but the new versions are not available to use in other DAWs.Examigan wrote: Wed Jan 28, 2026 11:09 pm Doesn't Alchemy work with Apple Silicon in Logic Pro?

Carbon Electra runs only under Rosetta on Apple Silicon. What will happen when Apple discontinues Rosetta? Apple confirmed Tahoe is the last update for Intel Macs. They are getting rid of Rosetta too after macOS 27.

I hope all of these apps have good copy protection.
Vendor‑Dependent Copy Protection: Customers lose. Pirates win.
(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)
