A constant "problem" for me has been the loopback so that music instruments and synths played in Ableton etc. was not recorded to OBS Studio video file when i record video of my screen(in Microsoft Windows). I know there are soundcards with native loopback however i have done it with VoiceMeeter before.
But it is cumbersome. So i bought a cheap usb-interface from Amazon with loopback but it does not have own drivers so i choosed KoordAsio for interface.
To my surprise the loopback with KoordAsio now works with my old soundcard also(Kurzweil Unite-2). It is "showing" up under "Desktop Audio" in OBS - it has never showed that before with the drivers from Kurzweil and my usb sound interface Unite-2.
Those who want Loopback with the soundcard can maybe test this - might work for you too.

Hmm.... this also works with FlexAsio. I saw in another thread that maybe loopback would be supported soon natively? I am still on 24H2, though.

Ok, so sound from "Desktop Audio" is never there when using drivers from usb audio vendor, but is with FlexAsio and KoordAsio - something that probably has always been like this. Strange i haven't noticed.
