We found an old Casio tone at a flea market in Poland. It worked
perfectly despite its age, so we brought it with us to Patagonia.
While playing the little Casio in the studio, I had an idea: What if I
recorded it playing through its built-in speaker, capturing its full
essence and using the best microphones, preamps, and compressors?
And what if we also took advantage of the opportunity to enhance its
tone by processing it through some of the studio's pedals and effects?
That's how PTone was born, a library that blends the nostalgia and
warmth of that 80´s sound with today's sound design.
PTone is 42 sounds handmade with love and dedication. Sampled from a
lovely ancient casio keyboard, tweaked and twisted and processed with
analog and digital devices.
Whether you're a producer of ambient, trap, pop, LoFi, neoclassical,
experimental music…, or want to add a touch texture and originality to
