Hi KVR community. After a long time I post a new song here. I had the pleasure of composing a song for a new German animated series "Ashborn Idiots".

The Song of the Shield Maiden (Schildmaid in German), or ‘Song of Blood Fox,’ is for a scene in the pilot episode in which the hero "Blutfuchs" (Blood Fox) reflects on her childhood and her demanding father, singing about her pain and her lack of love and recognition.

The lyrics were written by the series' director and author, Marvin Buchecker.

The wonderful Helena Schaermann sang it for me. Thank you very much!

No AI was used for composing and producing this song!

Congratulations Kukulkan! It's a lovely piece.
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com

Thank you :)

I don't think German sounds that bad in songs. Maybe it's because I understand it as my mother tongue. But if you listen closely, German can convey a lot of emotion. We have many more words for different states of mind, and sometimes I really like that because it can even be lyrical  But at the end of the day, it is a matter of taste  .

I would like to compose and produce english songs or movies, too. But no one asked me for such because I currently do a lot of music for German radio plays and animated series.

Gott im Himmel. Was ist das?
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Blutfuchs shows her vulnerable side; composition and vocals fit perfectly together. Thank you!

A beautiful ballad – sung with great feeling, accompanied minimally by piano
and strings. But yes: When I hear it, I keep wondering: How would that
sound in English? Especially since you call yourselves "Aschborn idiots"... :?:

As I own the rights for this song, I'm free to make some English version (and longer). I will ask Helena (who sang it for me) if she is interested to do a second, non movie associated, version… Let's see.

The animated series is called "Ashborn Idiots". And it is a German production with German language. To be honest, I have no idea why it has an English title  I was asked to compose and produce a song for that scene. Hopefully, I am allowed to add more music to that show, soon. It was fun :ud:
