New plugin released: NeonVerb MV2



NeonVerb MV2 is a convolution-based reverb built around the classic character of the Alesis® MidiVerb II. We captured the original hardware programs and expanded them with modern controls that keep the tone authentic while making the spaces far more playable.

Add motion in two different ways: MOD brings a wobbly, tape-style movement on the input, while SPIN adds a Lexicon-inspired modulation to the reverb tail for a wider, shimmering decay.

Beyond the classics, NeonVerb MV2 goes further with DECAY powered by IR TimeStretch (change the IR length while preserving its timbre), an additional Alesis-style DIFFUSION network for extra depth and density, and output transformer saturation for weight, glue, and harmonics.

unfortunately it (AU, demo version) crashes logic 10.5.1 under mojave occasionally while browsing the presets

Just a little bump because I sincerely think this little gem needs a bit more interest, it reminds me at a certain degree of "80?s spaces" from Nomad Factory, but has some goodies (Diffusion, Modulation, Spin) that the one from Nomad Factory didn't offer at his time

The only regret I might have is that we can't load or own samples in this unit, to profit of these smart features ?

The use of samples in convolution engine seems to have considerably increase in flexibility ?

...especially on this one, I don't think there is currently other convolution reverbs that offer these feature ?

Unfortunately not on this plugin. We are developing something else that will also feature loading your own IRs
