Recently I've spent a large part of my free time on creating ChorCraft, a chord progressions generator. Today was a big day for the project.

Finished adding new features. Did a total UI UX overhaul. Today was a good day. The idea behind ChordCraft is simple: pick a genre kick a mood and watch the magic. No big setup or hassles just pick your options and generate.

For those wanting more in depth customization and tinkering there's an advanced mode with many more options.

Features include 9 genre's, 8 moods, custom bpm, voicing presets, mixer, 4 or 8 chords generation, save, export, load, etc.

Right now the the site is completely free use, unlimited generations and no sign up needed so check it out at https://chordcraft.org

Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Pretty neat and straightforward. Interested in seeing where this leads.

This is somehow oddly useful, would be cool to have harps and instead of playing chords to arp them up or down configurably.

how about rearranging the blocks as another option?

It would be helpful if the exported midi had the chord sequence and bpm in the filename as well as what is currently in it. Presumably the sequences are coming from a database of sorts rather than AI?

Not AI indeed. Just some code and a lot of humanization.

Boo. So that implies a finite (read: very limited) set of chord sequences which has already been done by many VST plugins and at least one online midi generator:
