i only have FXC5 and upgrade is 69€ for 5 new plugins. quite generous.

Efx Ambient looks fun. Yes, upgrade price is pretty good but there are starting to get too many of these without some sort of rack/ FX LAB ... !

I can get FX Collection Intro for $99 or I can get the Pro version for $99. Tough choice.... collating...collating.... carry the one... results: inconclusive. I guess I'll go with the intro version since I'm not sure if I'll like these.

I thought I had a newer version but I just checked and I have Collection 2 so it would be about 15 new plugins for me.

I think the stuff 5 added was neat but not super duper revolutionary anyway, so if you're not feeling the stuff in that or 6 then ultimately you don't need what you don't need.

I've heard real positive things about Tape J-37 though so I am a bit tempted. I have none of the five added to this new collection so upgrading from 5 for me is $69. That pitch shifter catches my attention too. Seems to be an Eventide H910?

99 euros for me to upgrade from FX Collection 3. Not too bad considering I'd get about 9 or 10 new plugins.

Not overly impressed with the new EXF Ambient. It's probably capable of some cool stuff but it definitely takes work to get there.

I've been tempted to buy many times, but every effect in the collection has significant latency (often 40+ samples iirc). I assume there's some shared architectural reason, because many of these processes wouldn't necessitate latency. Hard to go "all in" on them in light of this.
