Hey everyone,
I just released PianoRollArt, a free tool that converts images into MIDI notes. The concept is simple: dark pixels become notes, bright pixels stay silent. Load an image, see what happens in your piano roll.
5 retro image modes included:

Grayscale (full detail)
Threshold (hard pixel contrast)
Dither (Atkinson old Mac style, Floyd-Steinberg, Ordered grid)
Edge Detect (wireframe outlines)
Halftone (screen print raster look)

What to throw in: Logos, selfies, pixel art, QR codes, barcodes, album covers, old game screenshots, cat photos... basically anything.
Export as MIDI, drop it into your DAW, throw a synth on it, done. Bitwig users get a direct integration via Controller Script (available on Patreon).
