I had just received a promo e-mail from them where they offered it for 15quids, so I purchased it without demoing.
Had I known how great it in fact is, I'd have gladly paid twice that - or more.
I'm actually shocked at how good it is. Most probably the best spring reverb plugin out there, because the additional stuff (which is dead-easy to use) is able to gradually turn this into a number of different lush reverbs which which barely reveal their origin.
Not very LoFi at all!
Is this really convolution based? (Rhetorical question - I know it is) I was under the impression that IRs can't really do convincing spring reverb due to its rather non-linear nature, but this sounds a lot more authentic to me than a lot of algorithmic spring emulations.
I don't really know how they do it, but it's obvious that the guys @Wave Alchemy really know what they are doing. If this was my only reverb plugin, I'd not be lacking much in the way of crucial options.
Off to purchase their reverb bundle nonetheless.
Edit: typo
