Have any of you seen this? Anyone tried it out?

It's currently in beta at https://aspeninstruments.com/plugins/

I just finished watching the video so I haven't had a chance to test it yet but I'll be downloading right after I post this.

The Black Diamond Distortion is very awesome.
Up there with Misstortion.

While Black Diamond Distortion is obviously a very different beast, I do agree that Misstortion is an excellent plugin. It's been around a while and doesn't get mentioned so much anymore but I still use it often.

Has anyone else tried these and if so, do you have any thoughts/opinions on them? I've been getting some pretty impressive tones by running my gear through.

The distortion vst download is blocked as suspicious on my Windows 10 computer.

It's just not commonly downloaded (yet), you can skip the warning. I installed both, no problem or complaints from windoze.

Very cool actually, haven't tried any pedal captures yet, tho I will.

Yeah that's a false positive, they're definitely safe to install.

I didn't notice that 'til you pointed it out.

But eh, who cares? It's a YouTube video, not a peer-reviewed research paper.
