Hi everyone,

I’d like to share Monica, a free web-based MIDI sequencer designed for playing Standard MIDI Files (SMF) directly in a web browser.

Monica is intended as a simple and accessible way to play SMF files without needing dedicated hardware sound modules or a full DAW setup.

Current features:
- SMF playback in the browser
- SoundFont (.sf2) loading
- Playback using the selected sound source
- MIDI In support in compatible browsers

Monica is free to use and requires no registration or login.

Recommended browsers for MIDI In:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
(Web MIDI API support required)

At the moment, Monica is focused on SMF playback, but I plan to expand it further in the future with editing features and, eventually, audio support as part of a broader web-based DAW concept.

I’d be very interested in hearing your feedback, especially from people who use MIDI tools, sequencers, and SoundFonts in real workflows.

Thanks for taking a look.

Well done. But not something I am gonna use myself.
Patch names are not always shown correctly I noticed.

UI issue: the text in dropdown menus is not really very readable. It's white on light gray background, doesn't really work.
