Hi. I'm a composer, arranger and producer with 30+ years industry experience.
i've used a lot of plugins in that time, and they all work on a single audio channel. With practice you can make the audio on your channels sound better individually, but not everyone knows how to get that mixdown they're really after.
Imagine if you had a plugin that could fix bad mixes, instantly... Well, faster than it usually takes!
My plan is to create a demo video, showing the before & after results of the plugin. Hopefully this will gain an audience, and pre-orders for the early access beta version.
The demo plugin doesn't need to be a fully working version. Just a 'You know you want it...' prototype, with the first release available in x months.
Everyone here at KVR knows there are thousands of home producers and musicians who would love to have (need) something like this, so this seems to be the best place to find someone who would like to be involved for a straight 50% share of sales.
Obviously I can't give too much info away, but I'll answer as fully as I can if anyone has any questions!
Thank you
Adam

Hi, I read that before I posted thanks. Programmers need motivation. It could be an idea that solves a problem for a lot of people, and the programmer sees the potential for that idea once it becomes real.
In the music business, I receive lyrics from songwriters. Sometime with an idea for a vocal melody, and sometimes not.
The lyrics are the idea. The music creation, instrument selection, arrangement, mixing & production take a lot longer and can be compared to the programming.
Without the lyrics, all I have is an instrumental. It won't get airplay on the radio or listened to by record labels. Without music, all the lyricist has is a poem.
I'm also working on the business plan for this venture, which can make or break a product, and takes a lot of time working out feature implementation for each stage of development and realistic forecasting so nothing's missing that could stop this plugin being a success.
Thanks
Adam

So basically its a mixing plugin? Is that right? A single plugin on the master track of a DAW cant really mix all the separate tracks of a multitrack DAW project "on its own". Because when the signal gets to the effect plugin on the master channel its already been combined together by the DAW itself in a fixed way. However, it could be done by separate instances of a plugin in each track of the overall project? then they would communicate with the separate plugin on the master track to do some kind of mixing? I think this is kind of similar to how some expensive mastering/mixing plugin packages already do it. So might not actually be a new idea. Could be worth you checking what they have already patented it etc, otherwise you might not be able to commercialise it at all. Depends on what is their IP versus what is just generic concepts that cannot be protected
