Hi all,I wanted to share a tool I've been building that might be useful for anyone who needs to make quick music visualizer videos for YouTube, TikTok, or Spotify, while been private!
It's called ImgTool.app and runs in your browser. You load in a track, pick a visual style, and optionally drop in your own video backgrounds, then export it in 720p or 1080p. The key thing for anyone working with unreleased material: your audio never leaves your computer. Everything is processed locally using the Web Audio API and Canvas.
What it does:
20+ visual styles (bars, waveforms, rings, particles, ribbons, etc.)
Built-in video background library or bring your own
Text overlays for artist name, track title, cover art
3-band EQ that affects both the visualizer response and the exported audio
Export up to 1080p for free (max upto 4 Minutes) with a 4K paid one-time pass for a few days while you realse the tracks. No account, no subscription, no watermark on tracks under 4 minutes, works best in Chrome. I have been testing on my Macbook and Chome!
I built it because I make trance tracks for youtube. There is a release-day issue with uploading your own video clips at the moment, which I’m already working on this weekend..... but the built-in media library is working well. There’s also a live mix mode in beta, which is aimed more at DJs or anyone doing livestream sets. That still needs more work, but it’s the next thing I’m focusing on.
Happy to answer any questions about how it works or take feedback on what could be better. I'm a solo dev so I read everything.

Any feedback welcome!
Kind regards Mat!
