Hi,
I'm trying to recreate a specific vocal effect but I can't seem to nail it. I've already tried:
· VocalSynth 2
· AlterBoy
Ovox waves
· Vocoder v
· Vocodex (stock)
· Auto-Tune (formant shifting)
With all of these, I only got about 50-60% accuracy compared to the reference.
Here's the track I'm referencing:
second example:
If anyone knows what effect/plugin is being used here, please let me know.
Thanks

Listening on my phone so... Ovox should be able to do that. Maybe a mix of the clean signal and a vocoder.
You might try the Talkbox (there's topic on the instruments board). There's a plugin called Robo something., there's a demo. EDIT: Robot Talker is the name of the plugin version.
Evoke maybe, but there's no demo as far as I know.
Edit 2: Listening on my computer, it sounds less extreme than on my phone. Maybe you can do that with Auto tune and distortion or filter. Maybe add a mix of the clean vocal.

It's a Talkbox with the Attack turned way up. Vocalsynth has one.

It's probably something simple and obvious like chopping the phrases and just fading in the first parts. There is some faint Autotune going on. It kind of sounds like Traptune.
