What happened to being able to automate Pitch, Gain, Pan etc in Audio Events In V6?

Can you still do this and if so how?

The options have moved to a little icon button in the bottom-left corner of the editor, that can be right-clicked (or long-clicked) to select the parameter to edit.

It's one of the most asked about changes of the Bitwig 6 redesign that seems to confuse lots of users, so I wonder if they'll revert this to something more immediately discoverable.
