Hi everyone,

We wanted to share a quick sound design tip using GILLA ARP in MELTONE.

Hold a simple chord, then use GILLA ARP to add extra moving voices inside the chord.

The harmony stays intact, but the sound gets more color and motion, especially on pads, keys and soft synth parts.

Is the GILLA ARP in any of your other products? Have you ever thought about releasing the GILLA ARP separately as a MIDI FX plugin?

No, GILLA ARP is currently only available inside MELTONE.

Also, just to clarify, it is not a MIDI FX plugin inside MELTONE. It is more like a separate built-in instrument that is tied closely to MELTONE’s own sound engine.

You can use GILLA ARP by itself inside MELTONE too, without blending it with the main MELTONE sound, so in that sense it can work as its own instrument within the plugin.

The fully featured 14-day trial is probably the easiest way to get a feel for how it actually works.
